It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Borehamwood Physio is open for FACE TO FACE Physiotherapy and 1-to-1 Pilates lessons. VIRTUAL appointments are still available for those that need.
To ensure the health and safety of staff and patients, changes have had to be made to the running of the clinic.
Changes have also been made to the clinic prices, with new packages available. These include INJURY PACKAGES, THE RUN CLINIC, PILATES SESSIONS and PHYSICAL MOT. Please click here to see the updated prices and packages.
WHAT OTHER CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE?

Screening for COVID before your new appointment.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT ME?
Any new patient OR anybody that has not attended the clinic since the COVID outbreak is required to complete a screening questionnaire. You will also be sent further requests to screen yourself before any follow-up appointments.

Time has to be left to clean the room and equipment between each patient. This can include handrails and toilet if used.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT ME?
Occasionally your appointment may have to be moved forwards or backwards by 15 minutes, if appointments have been booked without time to clean. We will try and avoid this as much as possible.

Facemasks / PPE.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT ME?
You MUST wear a Facemask when attending your appointment. The Physiotherapist will also be wearing a Facemask. When appropriate they will also be wearing non-latex gloves and an apron.

No waiting room.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT ME?
When you arrive for your appointment you will find the GP surgery locked. You will be let in for your appointment by the Physiotherapist. You will be called to let you know when the door is going to be opened. You will also be let out after your appointment. Borehamwood Physio is not part of Theobald Medical Centre GP practice. Please do not knock on the window to be let in or enter the clinic before being called.

Hand washing.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT ME?
Hand sanitiser is available on entry. Everyone must wash their hands on entering the clinic room.

Toilet use.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT ME?
There is a toilet available, however we are trying to reduce use. We request you go to the toilet before you leave your home.

Payment.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT ME?
You will still make payment during your appointment, but where possible you will be sent a payment link to your phone instead of using a card reader. This reduces the need for cleaning of electronic equipment.

Physiotherapists health.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT ME:
If the Physiotherapist is unwell, even with non COVID cold or cough your appointment will be cancelled. In accordance with Government Policy and CSP guidance every measure will be taken to ensure patient and staff safety. However it is important to be aware that there is always a risk of transmission.
Patient health.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT ME?
If you have been asked to self isolate and attended the clinic, you must inform BOREHAMWOOD PHYSIO as soon as possible. If you have a cough or a cold, even if it is non COVID related we ask that you cancel your appointment.
